Cursed Relics is a dark fantasy art challenge I created back in 2020.

Initially I just came up with a prompt list in order to practice myself but people in social media liked the idea and started to join me so I "formalized" it and started hosting it every year during October month.

The event is designed to be stress free so anyone can still join a creative challenge but without the preassure of having to complete an entire list of drawings in a short amount of time. Any technique or media is allowed! I'm interested in making the event as universal as possible so I try to encourage people from different fields (not only drawing) to join. Some years people have entered making tattoos, nail designs, make-up, music, pottery, sculpture, embroidery....We have more than 10k entries per year in the hashtags created through different SNS platforms.

I like to create every year's challenge alongside my audience so we select together through a big Instagram poll all the prompts within the list.
